Ronnie O’Sullivan wins Shanghai Masters using SightRight

Ronnie O’Sullivan came from behind to win the 2018 Shanghai Masters, defeating Barry Hawkins 11-9 in the final.

The win sees O’Sullivan defend the title he won here last year, when he beat Judd Trump 10-3 in the final to lift the trophy.

Victory pockets the Rocket £200,000. The event has gained a new level of prestige after transitioning from a ranking event to the most lucrative invitational event of all-time. The tournament carries with it a total of £725,000 in prize money and all of the world’s top 16 were in the 24-man field.

Mark Williams wins World Open in an all SightRight Final beating stable mate David Gilbert

Mark Williams came from 9-5 down to beat David Gilbert 10-9 in a thrilling final to win the Hong Rui Ma Yushan World Open for the first time.

Last season was an epic one for 43-year-old Williams as he won three ranking titles including the World Championship, and he has started the new campaign in the same fashion. The trophy takes his career tally of ranking titles to 22 while the £150,000 top prize takes his earnings for the past year well over £1 million.
