PDC darts star Colin Osborne has signed a new sponsorship deal with Winmau for four years.
The multiple Pro Tour winner and UK Open finalist, who managed two perfect 9 Darters in Pro Tour events, was looking for a fresh start to reignite his career.
Nicknamed “Ozzy”, Colin has already re-designed and changed to his new darts at Winmau’s custom fit facility, and he will be using them for all future matches on tour.
As part of the deal Winmau are introducing a new range of Colin Osborne darts products that will be sold throughout their global distribution channels, and will be available over the coming months.
Colin Osborne said: “The last few years have been really tough, as I’ve not been getting the results I felt I deserved. I’ve still been working just as hard, maybe too hard in parts, and I needed a fresh start. Talking with Winmau has been so refreshing. They are not just an amazing darts manufacturer but they have a host of in-house skills and technical ability to genuinely support the modern darts professional. This is highlighted by my agreement to work with the Winmau SightRight Coach Steven Feeney, who is the only eye dominance and accuracy specialist in the World, and I can’t remember a time when I’ve felt so positive and happy about the future”.
Simon Hall, Winmau’s Head of Marketing, added: “Colin is no doubt a world class player, but he’s also a world class person as well. He shares our passion for darts and continuous improvement, and we’re really excited Colin has chosen to work with us over the next 4 years”.
Colin’s range will be announced in the coming months and will be available from all good retailers.
